Introductory talks
This page is to assist you with your introductory talks. Introductory calls are one of the primary ways to communicate with women the feeling and energy of Golden Lotus, and the sense of sisterhood. These talks are circles, and share the energy and wisdom of Golden Lotus with a meditation and a way of communicating - not only information dumping on women in a cold or harsh environment. Introductory talks are important for women as they are often drawn towards this work but don’t know the specific nature of the classes or the content. Introductory talks are best scheduled with the venue you intend to do your course/circles at. Ideally it could be a warm, cosy space like your own home or a local centre. Introductory talks can cover some of the egg use as well, or simply be about the work, yourself and the content. It’s up to you how you decide to include or not include the work of the egg in your introductory content - however you may wish to consider if you will be providing eggs to your participants as a method to determine how much information to give. Below you will find our recorded content from the Morocco retreat regarding introductory calls - along with a YouTube of the very first Golden Lotus introductory talk, and a PDF guide to help you with the flow of your own introductory talk.
First Introductory Talks
This talk is the first ever Golden Lotus Introductory Talk, which can give you a context for your own talks, and how to run the introduction circle. You are welcome to write some notes from this intro talks, or follow the PDF I have supplied (or text below) for your own introductory talk notes.
Introductory Talks
Optional Exercise: I invite all of you to set up an introductory talk in the space where you will plan to host your sisterhood circles.
1) Send an informative email elly@goldenlotusdxb.com & eva@goldenlotusdxb.com specifying the time and place of your event (and language) so we can add you to the social media calendar, and our Facebook - even the website. You are also welcome to make a post on your own Instagram or Facebook and tag us.
2) Make a list of women who you choose to join simply to support you - friends and women you wish to invite into the space for comfort, to be connected to someone or something which is nourishing you as you may be feeling anxiety.
2) Record your intro talk - if it is possible to record it, please do - and send it to us for feedback and for us to upload onto our IGTV - if you record your circle as an Instagram Live video, or make stories on your Instagram, please send it to us and/or tag us so we can repost it for you.
