Introductory talks
This page is to assist you with your introductory talks, as one of the primary lead generators and ways to fill your classes and clinic. Introductory talks are important for women as they are often drawn towards this work but don’t know the specific nature of the classes or the content. Introductory talks are best scheduled with the venue you intend to do your course at. Introductory talks can cover some of the egg use as well, or simply be about the work, yourself and the content. It’s up to you how you decide to include or not include the work of the egg in your introductory content - however you may wish to consider if you will be providing eggs to your participants as a method to determine how much information to give. If you will be selling eggs you may want to schedule a second stand alone jade egg talk, or simply include basic information in your introductory talk. Below you will find our recorded content from the Morocco retreat along with a YouTube of the very first Golden Lotus introductory talk, and a PDF guide to help you with the flow of your own introductory talk.
First Introductory Talks
This talk is the first ever Golden Lotus Introductory Talk, which can give you a context for your own talks, and how to run the introduction circle. You are welcome to write some notes from this intro talks, or follow the PDF I have supplied (or text below) for your own introductory talk notes.
Introductory Talks
Optional Exercise: I invite all of you to set up an introductory talk in the space where you will plan to teach. Then as an exercise in branding and marketing, generate the following:
1) An informative email and send it to goldenlotusdxb@gmail.com specifying the time and place of your event so we can add you to the website, social media calendar, and Facebook. Make a post on Instagram or Facebook and tag us.
2) A beautiful flyer. You can use our collective Canva for that process - see the module on Branding & Marketing Guidelines.
3) Make a post on Instagram and tag us - and record your intro talk. If it is possible to record it, please do so and sent it to us for feedback and for us to upload onto our IGTV and our Highlights - if you record it as an Instagram Live video, please send it to us and tag us.
